Squawq makes sense of the noise.

How Squawq works:

Why Squawq?

Have you ever wondered how many people were tweeting about a certain topic? Or what else they're talking about when they mention a brand? Or what they're linking to? Or even when they're talking about you or your brand?

If you've ever asked any of those questions, Squawq is designed to help you answer them. Squawq allows you to quantify and analyze twitter conversations. Giving you easy-to-understand tidbits about what's being said on Twitter.

How to Squawq:

Sign in with your Twitter username and password [?]

Enter your e-mail address and activation code. [?]
You can immediately use the real-time search feature of Squawq without an activation code. However, an activation code is needed to unlock Squawq's long-term tracking features. There are a limited number of activation codes available at this time. If you don't already have one, please request a code after you sign in. We'll see that one is sent to you as they become available.

Add a Query [?]
Decide what you're interested in and set up a query. If you have always wanted to analyze the usage of the word "cartographer" on Twitter, now's your chance.

Explore [?]
Squawq will track every mention of your query on Twitter. It will then draw pretty charts and graphs to help you easily translate the information. For instance, now you can discover if the word "socks" is most often mentioned with your brand (or whatever the case may be).
